Wash Care Instructions

Dry Clean or Hand Wash (Recommended)
We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing, especially our jackets rather than machine washing. These garments are made from Organic Cotton and our jackets have Sherpa Fleece, and harsh detergents can work against the very qualities that make them special.

Machine Wash
If machine washing is necessary, wash cold on a gentle cycle. Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the corduroy texture and preserve colour. Use a mild, chemical-free detergent suited to delicate or organic fabrics.

Leather Badge Care
The leather badge on your garment is genuine leather. Avoid soaking or submerging it in water for extended periods, and keep harsh detergents away from the badge directly. If it gets wet, pat dry immediately. Occasionally conditioning with a small amount of leather conditioner will keep it supple. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to remove the badge, a seam ripper (around $2 from Woolworths) does the job cleanly and easily.

Drying
Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.

Ironing
If needed, iron on a low heat setting while the garment is slightly damp. Always iron inside out and avoid ironing directly over the corduroy ribbing, iron in the direction of the pile only.

General
Do not bleach. Store hanging rather than folded to help the garment maintain its shape.

Imperfections & Changes

Every garments we sell is handmade, so there may be some imperfections in the materials and colour differences, we like to call this "the piece of clothings character" :)  Cotton does fade over time, so don’t be alarmed if the clothing changes colour as it ages, it’s unavoidable when natural fibres are in sun & light over time.

Whatever you do, do not put your littles ones organic cotton corduroy in the dryer. Treat the organic cotton pieces as if they were your own favourite dress shirt or dress.
